Post-round write-ups from the commissioner

TONAWANDA, NY – When Mike Mondoux took to the course in week-1, he was recorded by TMZ saying he would win week-1 and "crumble like a Coyle". He was 1/2 right: He won week-1. What he got wrong: He hasn't crumbled like a Coyle...just yet. Mondoux proved he's the best GI6 putter as he recorded a 36 with 2-HI1 and cruised to his single-season-league-record 3rd green jacket victory. Mondoux also cruised out of the Dome without the Green Jacket on, running passed an adorning crowd and waiting media. When asked why he wasn't wearing the green jacket he exclaimed "Conschafter, Coyle and the rest of those clowns are jealous of my greatness. I didn't want to rub it into their faces." It appears Mondoux is not only the best of the GI6 putters, he's also the most considerate and classy of the bunch (which isn't saying much). In other news, Mike Robinson, new to the league in 2018, was abruptly kicked out of the Getzville-7 for his continued poor play. When team captain, Jay Flemming, was asked about this move and why other as-shitty putters haven't been dealt with Flemming replied "They're on notice!". When pressed for names, Flemming angrily noted "It doesn't take much to investigating to figure that out." One would assume he's talking about newcomer Joe LaBuda who has spent much of time with the usual bottom feeders, and Bryan An, a perennial battler for last place. It appears the Getzville-7, correction, Getzville-6, has taken a page out of the GI6 playbook and moved to a more hostile group. And finally, the editor(s) of this site are busy investigating the missing Lifetime Achievement Award Trophy Heist and therefore have little time available to do a full write-up. They're forensics team is still combing through the evidence and a final report is expected in the coming weeks. So, instead of the lengthy write-up, they took a slightly different approach this week. Hope you enjoy!
Place Name Week HI1 Recap
Mike Mondoux 36 2 Sits in 2nd place overall and is expected to "crumble" at any point
Tom Barbops 37 2 In 3rd place and claims that is where he wants to be. As steady as they come, no one expects him to crumble.
Jeff Luke 37 1 Hasn't finished outside the top-3 yet in 2018, week-6 was no different.
Scott Wilson 38 3 Coming off his 1st career green jacket victory, a respectable finish this week. Vegas has week-7 O/U at 42.
Jay Flemming 38 2 Great pre-putt score...still no green jackets in his career.
Tim Roesch 38 2 Pre-putt score was 6-strokes better than his average.
Shawn Conschafter 39 1 Doesn't have the dedication like years past; jealous of Mondoux's success.
Nick Keil 41 3 Athletic ability is in question given his horrible bowling and putt-putt averages.
Bryan An 41 2 Best score of the season and he still hasn't broken 40. 2019 tour-card is in jeopardy.
Chris Wilkinson 41 1 Going from 4th to 5th place overall after this finish, the rookie has started to feel the pressure.
Scott Verost 41 1 Putting together a season only he can brag about.
Tony Rotella 41 0 Like his Asian Idol, An, he hasn't broken 40 this year!
Harald Rehm 42 1 Continues to be happy with whatever he scores; his Rules Committee nomination is looking likely.
John Coyle 42 1 A pre-season top-5 putter, he hasn't putted like one; could be removed from Team Sexual Chocolate.
Scott Mason 42 1 Like Harald, he's there to have "pops"; his score indicates there's more than "pop" in his glass.
Pat Holden 42 0 "Hot Body" Holden hasn't been hot...but has been hot-boxin.
Jeff Hewett 43 2 Disappointing season for one of the best athletes in the league; his time spent with Harald is said to be a big reason.
Frank DiJames 43 1 More was expected from this rookie; he's preoccupied with a baby-on-board.
Tim Remy 44 0 Pleats, sweats, jeans, ties, tees...he's tried every outfit combination to see if he can get comfortable. He doesn't look right (or young).
Joe LaBuda 46 0 This rookie has proved to be nothing more than a paying member as his lowest score of the year was a 43!
Mike Robinson 50 0 His poor play has resulted in his dismissal from the Getzville-7; pulled a "Conschafter" after the round and lost his putter!
James Geniti 53 0 Preoccupied with wedding plans, he's almost missed more weeks than JK.
Joe Neeson 55 0 Let's be honest, this guy is in the league to hang with the guys. Not a bad thing to say about him (but there's a lot of bad things to say about his game)
