Post-round write-ups from the commissioner

IMG_5241 TONAWANDA, NY – As a young boy growing up in the Town of Tonawanda, Thomas Charles Barbops dreamed of one day winning the Masters. At 42 years old, Thomas realized those dreams with a performance that was nothing short of historic. Beginning the round with a hole-in-one, Barbops finished with a league record 37. In the back-9, he scored 17 2's and a hole-in-one. Having finished 2nd the previous 2-weeks, Barbops is no longer the bridesmaid and sits in 1st place overall. IMG_5251Having fulfilled a lifelong dream, it was reported that Barbops spent the night with a paid escort and strolled into work the next morning having not showered and sporting the green jacket. This picture was submitted to league officials by the paid escort demanding compensation or she will go public with the rest of the photos. The league ignored the threat and are awaiting additional photos. We'll bring those to the public once we receive them. Additionally, the jacket will be steam cleaned before the next league champion is expected to wear it, that's for sure. Moving on, having been the victim of the tiebreaker the previous 2-weeks, Jeff Kelly scored a personal best 40, shooting a 20 on both the front and back-9, with 2 holes-in-one. This puts Kelly in 2nd place overall. Losing out to Kelly in the tiebreaker was Jeff Lukasavich who failed to connect on a hole-in-one and sits in 4th place overall. Coming into week-3 in 12th place overall, Joe Neeson scored a personal best 41 , finishing tied for 4th and moving up 3 spots to 9th place overall. Neeson was in the zone and didn't record anything worse than a 3 and put up an 18 on the back-9. Matching Neeson's scores on the front and back and scoring a hole in one as well was Mark VeRost. His consistent performance thus far puts him in 3rd place overall. Finishing tied for 6th this week was Scott Wilson and Whitey Ondak. Both scoring a 43 with no holes-in-one and just one 4 on the score card each. Ondak sits in 5th place overall while Wilson is in 8th. Just behind them was the ever-improving Tim Roesch who after scoring a 54 in week-1, then a 47 in week-2, shot a respectable 45 and moved into 12 place overall. Finishing 9th was Brian Kimpel who after posting 3 consecutive 4's, recorded a 27 on the front but finished strong however, shooting a 19 on the back-9. Reports have it that the Rumpel Minze shot on hole-9 turned things around for him! Kimpel currently sits in 6th place and said he will now be doing shots of Rumple every week before the match. Kimpel's playing partner, Jay Flemming shot a disappointing 47 despite having shot a practice round earlier in the week which he admitted to others that his 9-year-old son had beaten him. The word on the tour is that Flemming is looking to switch his swing coach and may move to a belly-putter in week-4. Flemming sits in 7th overall. Despite posting 2 holes-in-one, Jim Neville managed to screw things up and posted a 49. Neville finished in 11th place and also sits in 11th place overall but says he believes he's now figured out the course. We'll see in week-4 if that is the case. After vowing to improve his game after shooting a 49 in week-2, Steve Steck shot...another 49 in week-3. Steck just can't seem to get things right telling reporters after the round 'I just have no clue out there. I aim left, it goes right. I suck.' Well if he sucks, his playing partners Harald Rehm and Kevin Kelly suck more. Rehm posted another round in the 50's, shooting a 52 while Kelly posted a second consecutive 50. Steck sits in 13th, Kevin Kelly in 14th and Rehm in 15th. And rounding out the group was the ever-controversial, and week-1 winner, Tony Remy. Walking into week-3, Remy was in 4th place overall. Walking out, after posting a 14th place 51, he was in 10th. Remy may have had reason for shooting so poorly. Prior to the days round, celebrity gossip website TMZ.com posted a series of scintillating photos showing Kelly Lukasavich, the wife of league president Jeff Lukasavich, with Remy. In an ironic twist, in week-3, Remy was in a three-some with Lukasavich (umm, the putting three-some with Jeff that is). Clearly shaken by these findings, Remy's 51 was 12 strokes off his week-1 performance. His fall from supremacy is being compared to fellow adulterer Tiger Woods. The impropriety apparently continued at the after party when unsuspecting onlooker, Harald Rehm, asked Jeff Lukasavich "who's the chick behind me all over Remy?". Jeff replied "my wife!". Surprised by what he was witnessing, Rehm quipped: "When the chick was givin' him tongue, I thought she was connected to no one." League officials have obtained these photos showing relations not only between Kelly Lukasavich but with another tour player's wife Brenda Flemming, wife of Jay Flemming.
IMG_5242 IMG_5250 All parties were unavailable for comment. League officials  cautioned all tour members recommending players confiscate their wife's passports as Remy has a history of taking his mistresses overseas to Switzerland on lavish spending sprees in Ikea. League officials are looking into the allegations and may take 'action'. And finally, Harald Rehm and Jeff Lukasavich once again walked out of the Dome a winner as they defeated Jay Flemming and Brian Kimpel in their continued series of dart matches. The series is now at 5-2 in favor of Rehm and Lukasavich. Next week is the US Open, valued at 1.5 points, where anyone (except Harald) will have a chance to bring home the green jacket. Fun Facts:
