Post-round write-ups from the commissioner
TONAWANDA, NY - Scott Wilson came into the 2018 season without a sniff of the green jacket the previous 3 seasons. Opening this season with three straight 41 rounds, it appeared 2018 would be no different. But then in week-5, Wilson turned things around and shot a 36 (2 HI1) for his first green jacket. Just four weeks later, Wilson was able to claim victory once again as he shot a week-9 best 37 (1 HI1). His play has been impressive as of late as he now sits just 4-points out of the money in 4th place overall, just behind Chris Wilkinson.
Wilson and Wilkinson also happen to be the final two putters left in the elimination tournament. These two have a side bet going into the final week as both men claim to be superior over one another. These two will be putting in separate threesomes as Wilkinson will be paired with league leader and 2016 Champion, Jeff Luke and 2017 Champion Tom Barbops. Meanwhile, Wilson will be paired with Mike Mondoux and Shawn Conschafter.
With that, it's time to hand out the 2018 Yearbook Superlatives in order of the current standings:
